Notes

back from Spring Break Easter Holiday! It was wild. Jona and I slept in his host family’s house, with couchsurfers, in the bushes, in a hostel in the middle of a national park, in a campground, and in the grossest hotel I’ve ever stepped foot in, all around Southern France. I have blisters on my feet from hiking close to 10 miles every day, I’m sunburnt in the oddest places (like the back of my hands), and I now own a tent, 2 sleeping bags, and significantly smellier clothes.
Every day, I felt like I lived 10 days, so I think I’ll write up a post describing just one day’s adventures, and it’ll be an exhaustive account. (that’s how these things work, right?)
If you missed it, there’s a nice picture of me on Jona’s blog.
Remind me again why I didn’t study abroad somewhere with beautiful sunny weather, delicious cheese, wine, and olives, phenomenal climbing, and people who speak a language I have some idea about?
